News:
1. Airdog Airsoft in GA has a new field: ”The part that we are currently using was a hotel, but the whole complex was a truck stop. So there use to be several restaurants, a laundry mat, a sign shop, a gas station, 20 showers, a full mechanic shop for 18 wheelers, lounges. All that stuff is what we can expand into.” “The current foot print of the indoor facility is about 45,000 sq. ft. and expandable into building #2, once the gaming takes off. We will also work to incorporate the 4 acre wooded area into airsoft gaming in the future.” They have a video, and a website for the visually stimulated….
2. Looks like Android is taking the military by storm too, the GD300 is a wrist wearable GPS enabled smart-device that links to military radio systems to get real-time data on the battlefield. Popular Airsoft has the whole story here.
3. A new site is out that offers reviews of airsoft retailers, it’s in the beginning stages, but we can see the positive uses of a tool like this for the airsoft community.
4. Magpul + Paintball = Cry!!! (august 2010 post)
5. KWA KRISS - All hail the Spray N’ Pray King!!!!!!!!!!
and also in KWA news:
5 & 1/2. KWA has restocked their G36c and it is now available everywhere! Here is the thread on the highly anticipated Version 3 2GX gearbox now coming within every KWA g36.
6. Been missing A&K Aegs??? Well your wait is over, airsoft Global has them in stock!
7. Another attempt at airsoft paintballs..Hellfire paint BBs..I’d snub my nose aside from the fact that Redwolf is endorsing them.
Thanks to Eric Fine, Austin W. Alex K, Robert Irwin Connor B. and the rest of the RAR team! Plus Kyle M. in Georgia for the Airdog story.

Vocab:
The Multicam Milsim Monster
Oh yes we ALL know a person, if not a whole team or organization like this. These people all have their completely matching gear and weapons and radios and headsets and mags throughout their whole team.
These people tend to gravitate to Magpul, use with real caps or mid caps ONLY, and quick to correct anyone who calls it a magazine a clip or calls a sniper rifle a sniper. On the forums, they yell at people for saying “lol” and jest at those using the cheaper yet still as effective acm stuff.
They are very uber, or at least think they are. Like their “tactics” and “ranks” aka an excuse to yell at people…. Uh…sound like anyone that we know? *cough* Jonathan *cough*
Review
Alex Kong, from our Airsoftology Canada branch, brings us a detailed review of the Pantac RRV, and it’s in that new-fangled “moving-picture” format on YouTube. You Canadians are so ahead of us on your technology!
RANT!!!
In response to Steve’s rant in show #37, listener “Tank” sent this in:
“Hey guys, I just listened to ep.37 and I have to point out some things about Steve’s rant about the PTS ACR…
The initial release of the PTS ACR comes with a fixed stock, and M16 magazine compatible lower.
Magpul says that the folding stock, alternative barrel lengths, and “AK” lower receiver will be available in the “near future”. So Steve’s bitching about not having the ability to change lowers is somewhat unwarranted.
Granted, the “AK” lower will not accept standard AK mags, it will use proprietary Magpul mags, but it will have the ability to swap out lowers, stocks and barrels.
Also, Magpul claims that they are working on a drop in GBB conversion. Though I’ll believe it when I see it.
As for the ACR’s internals….It’s ARES. Anyone who’s seen the ARES M4 mechbox can tell you that they are identical to the photos of the ACR’s internals.
Magpul supposedly has stated that the ACR is NOT made by ARES, but they are clearly not being entirely truthful.”
