About Us

Airsoftology was created by airsofters to help grow the airsoft community and is entirely self-funded.  The Airsoftology team produce the show for the fun of it and to share knowledge, not because it’s their job.

Meet the guys:

Jonathan Higgs – (aka: “Kane”)

jonathan@airsoftology.com

Jonathan purchased his first AEG back in early 2002 and opened the mechbox the day it came in. Since then he’s owned 24 airsoft guns from just about every major manufacturer out there.

He’s an active part in his thriving local airsoft community and plays every time his schedule allows, but holding down a full time job in IT, keeping the wife happy,  and playing as much as possible can be a balancing act.

Jonathan is the certified Geardo of the group and is (self-admittedly) addicted to tactical gear. He currently has 6 upgraded AEGs, and a handful of GBBs in his ever changing arsenal.

Steve Cornwell (aka “Psycho Steve”)

steve@airsoftology.com

Steve’s an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, shrouded in secrecy, covered in…you get the idea.  Steve’s been in the airsoft world since 2005, and has been playing with the guys since day 1.

His on-field personality is polar opposite of his borderline-risque’ show persona.  Quiet, calculating and controlled while playing and living life to the “fullest” off…Steve continues to surprise us every time he opens his mouth.

Regular Contributers to the Show:

Tim Taromina- (aka: “Penko-Pocko” or “Pinky”)

Tim is the poster-boy airsofter with a quick wit to boot, balancing airsoft with his busy work and college schedules…  He’s as fast a shot on the field as he is with a sharp comment on the show (or the forums).  Over his years of airsoft experience, he’s always been less concerned with the gear and more concerned with having fun.  Tim always brings his unique viewpoint, and “sniper-ego”, when he’s on the show.

Chris Wyatt – (“The Mechbox Mechanic”)

With his vast knowledge of the things that live inside of an airsoft gun, Chris really dominates when it comes to technical discussions.  Calling from the experience of thousands of AEG repairs and custom upgrades he’s performed in his years as a professional airsmith, there are very few airsoft related questions that he can’t answer.

His insight is always welcome when he joins the cast. You can find him normally at www.mechboxmechanic.com or working on guns as the Senior Tech at www.nashvilleairsoft.com
