Some things of note that aren't pictured here:
- It takes a Medium type motor, and not a long type as most M4s do.
- You have to take the top apart from the bottom to change the battery. It's just 1 pin holding the upper and lower together, but it does take some effort to split the parts.
- The battery is a stick-type, the same most AKs use. So all of your small lipos (including the M4 bufer tube size and crane style ones) aren't going to fit.
- Echo1 gives you 2 spots to route the wires externally for a bag or PEQ box without drilling: One hole is out the rails on the right side for the front PEQ, the other is revealed by removing the mock "Forward Assist" button on the back left for the rear bag option.
- In our short stress test it held up just fine to extended bursts off of an 11.1v lipo, however we'd recommend a 9.6v lipo for longevity its stock form. That said, since we like voiding warranties we're running 11.1v lipos on ours :)
- This thing is ROCK solid, without any wobble (once you dial in the stock adjustment screw to take up the play). More so than any other AEG we've tested in our labs.
