We are excited to bring you the first episode of the Airsoftology podcast, your podcast about all things airsoft. This project has been months in the making and we are thrilled to offer it to the airsoft community.
In every show we cover airsoft news, gear and gun reviews and tech tips for the new and experienced alike. We’re currently updating every 2 weeks and as we grow in user submitted segments, we will produce it on a weekly basis.
This is our first effort and we are always looking for your input, as the listener, to improve upon it. In fact, that is what makes us unique! We want you to be a part of the show and there are many ways that you can do it.

Show Notes
News:
- The Masada replica by ACM looks to be a "real" product and some stores are pre-ordering. Read the story here.
- Magpul has released their MOE handguard under their PTS line. It looks to be an affordable option for those wanting a new look for their M4 and comes in the normal Magpul colors. Pick it up at your local shop that carries Magpul products or ask them to order it from Spartan Imports if they don't have it yet.
- Madbull's new product, the Crazy Bull, has us scratching our heads.
- We talk about the newest member of the Systema PTW family, the bank account destroying M4A1 Super Max
- Crossman and Classic Army/Spartan Imports have partnered to bring CA airsoft replicas to the big-box retailers. We break it down for you. Oh yeah, Chris did get the origins of airsoft incorrect during this segment...he wanted to let everyone know it was Mattel that "invented" airsoft back in the 1950's.
The Buzz
- We cut past all the rumors and talk about the Bioval BBB MAX. Will it really shoot through your gear or break glass? How much improvement does it offer over a normal BB? Is it worth the price??? We discuss it at length and set the rumors straight.
- Tim, Jonathan and Chris talk about not calling hits and how it affects your games where you play. We want to hear your stories about this hot topic so send them in. We'll play your segments and read emails in an upcoming show.
Reviews
Ajax Customs Shock Transfer System (STS)...Think of it as a shock absorber for your mechbox. You can purchase it here and here. Chris gives you all the details in his review.
VFC Knights Armament PDW- You can pick it up in Hong Kong at Redwolf and WGC or the only site I have found listing the gun for sale in the US so far is Nashville Airsoft, I'm sure more stores have them but they aren't up on the web yet. We have a hands-on review of it on the show.
Tech Tip of the Week
How to charge your battery the correct way. Yeah, yeah...We know it sounds simple, but this is probably the #1 question asked at your local airsoft shop by new players. Chris tells us how its done.
