1. First up, we review the new Mantis Holster. Made of Kydex and custom built to your specs, it's a worthy contender to some of the best holsters on the market today but at an affordable price. You can find some of the common models (1911, Beretta, Sig, and the KWA M11) pre-made to user-favorite specs at Airsoft-Barracks.com, NashvilleAirsoft.com or head over to their Facebook page to place a custom order.
2. Suppress your anger with the USA-made Venom Tech barrel extensions. They come in 3 sizes, are constructed of super-light aluminum, and have both 14mm positive and negative threads to fit just about every airsoft gun on the market. The best part is they are only $45 US. You can find them at airsoftgi.com, shortyusa.com, airsoftatlanta.com or anywhere JAG Precsion products are sold
Yep, it's back. But this time we need your help defining some airsoft items. Here's our crack at it, if you can top it we'll send you a Maggrips.com prize pack!
- Scope: Lookie-Loo
- Rifle Fore Grip - Hang Dangler
Comeon, we know you can do better than us. If you have what it takes, send an email to the show with your better idea!
1. Hey Jonathan and Steve, I've got a bit of a poser for you guys. Here's the situation:
I play airsoft in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Washington State and Oregon. We've had airsoft as a part of this region for the past fifteen years or so, and it has been growing rapidly in the past few years. This is great, of course, but recently there have been a few calls from a lot of the older community leaders to institute a player card/voucher system for newer folks. This call for action really came up after a few outstanding instances of hacking/cheating at games, mostly among either novice players or teenagers.
So, What is your guys' system for game registration/membership? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
-John N, PacNW airsoft player.
2. Now That more and more people are using 3-round burst mosfets in their AEGs, I was wondering what category a 3-round burst rifle would fall into since many fields
allow an increased FPS limit for semi-automatic/designated marksman rifles. I am guessing it is like the mercy rule that you talked about in the last show, meaning that the rule is "field specific" and that it depends on where you are playing, but I would like to hear any input you have on the subject. -SAM
3. Facebook question of the show: What are your thoughts on the US Marine Corps Licensing deal with Crossman? Head over to our page to answer the call.
