- First Tactical is now carrying the Templar Assault Systems gear, and this looks like some good stuff.  If you are in the UK you are set, for US listeners be prepared for shipping from across the pond.

Reviews

- We kick the tires on the Modify SMOOTH High Speed Gear Set. Yeah, the ones that are pre-shimmed!  Listen in and hear what we think about them.

Doctor Airsoft

Dr. Mark Vaughan, M.D. from the Auburn Medical Group, Inc. returns to reprise his role as Doctor Airsoft! In this episode he teaches us the nuts and bolts of heat injuries; history lesson included. This is a must-listen segment as we quickly approach the summer event season.

Tech Tip of the Week

Chris amazes us with another super-geeky tip this show; silent piston head modification.  This one’s more for the advanced tech crowd, but it’s worth a listen even if you are a novice.

Listener Segment

We answer your questions on the show, and like always we have some good ones.

- Patrick in Tampa, Fl asks for our help choosing a good a M249 (SAW)

- Ken (an Australian now living in CA) writes us about an airsoft Op a few weeks ago including the National Guard. From the pics he emailed us, it looks like an amazing event.  We’ll get more info for you soon!

- Ben Blanko has launched a very cool looking new site www.airsoftdna.com  and it’s a winner in our books.  He’s scoured the web for links to airsoft how-to videos and has them neatly organized in one place.  This one’s going in our favorites list!

Airsoftology Episode #9: “Rage Against the Machine”

May 12th, 2009

No really, I just want to talk about my feelings.

Episode #9, and Chris returns!  But as one comes home the other takes off, Tim is out of town for this episode.  He does get a pass since he is up in Minnesota playing airsoft (can you blame him, he’s at a decommissioned US military missile base).

Steve is back to fill in and we keep things moving.  Informative with a touch of humor; we break down the news, gear reviews and tech tips that you want to hear.

News

- Those crawler barrels we talked about last show from Madbull are already available, and they have a cool looking new upper for your M4 to drool over while you are browsing their site as well.

- USASOC magazine has their newest issue up and the sad news is that their Editor/Founder Nick Pertus is retiring.  Go check out this great (free) e-zine here.

- In Bioval news; they have a new BB on the horizon, the BBB T-Rex and it’s a top tier .43 sniper round. So if you are part of the ghillie suit/single-shot crowd, keep your eyes peeled for their release.

- The UK has a new field opening soon, and it’s an abandoned shopping mall.  Dawn of the Dead games anyone?  Man, you guys across the pond get to have all the fun!

- Forged clothing has a new line of T-shirts for women to complement their mens line. Run by an ex Navy Seal and mixed martial arts aficionado, these are duds that make a statement.  Check out what they have quick  before they sell out.

Humor

- Chris mentions the infamous camo effectiveness picture, so we had to link it here for you all to see.

Reviews
